Hello everyone, the radio in my D-150 is original (electric tune, etc) and is pretty much toast. I am just trying to figure out which years are different or have completely different wiring connections.
I have heard that Chrysler used a fairly similar radio all the way up into the 90's (for trucks and vans that is), if so I may go pick one up from the junkyard.

Yup. From about 1977 through the late 90s Chrysler used radios that have the same plugs and will physically swap with no problems. Look for high end minivans, Chrysler 5th Avenues, New Yorkers, and other high end models to get the nicer radios and stereos.

Awesome, that makes it a lot easier to replace, and I don't really want to know whats back behind there. The junkyard by me has quite a few Ram Vans that have nice radios, and the owner said $20 a piece.

I know where I'm going Saturday!
