The sagging driver's side door on my Volare coupe has gradually gotten worse. I bought one of those pin/bushing kits from an auto parts store, but this is something that I've never done before. How much of a PITA is this going to be? Suggestions?

Sounds like you need to do a hinge/alignment adjustment also. Maybe even just check the tightness of the bolts.

You'll need a jack for under the door and a helper to hold and position it. Make sure you put some grease on the bushings before you get them in. They are a tight fit and you don't want them breaking. I tapped mine in very carefully with a hammer but if I had to do it again I'd build a little press out of some thread, nuts and washers. It's a cheap piece of maintenance that will make a ton of difference.

I ordered a set of A body pins and bushings for my Aspen. I haven't tried them yet. I hope they fit as I couldn't find any that said F-body on them. I shimmed door up to pinstripe it to keep the pintripe line straight with body line. We will see days off if they fit.

Try your local hardware store, if it is the old-fashioned kind, or any building material outlets; ask for hinge pins or hinge bolts. I found ordinary house door hinge pins that fitted my Aspen perfectly when boring out the holes a little bit, and adjusting the length.
I also suggest to use lubri-plate or similar dry(ish) lube on the hinges, I found that grease has a tendency to accumulate a lot of road crud, it was all grainy when I wiped it off. Don't forget to lube those star-wheels!

Those hinges are really a very bad construction, the surfaces that takes the load are way too small, so a bushed pin may be better. They are also the main reason for rotten floors in F/M/J-bodies.
