Ok the only thing I could really find for the crown Vic gp ratings is pretty much between 210 and 260 or so depending on the engine. I didn't do a bunch of research on that. If you want a slant to have that much power you are looking at some money. Most of the guys are probably gonna tell you to do hei ignition, I did mine for a little over $100. Super six conversion (2bbl carb) a cam and probably shave the head and a new exhaust. Slantsixdan will probably comment later or one of the other more knowledable guys. Hope this helped a little. But this is just what I would do. And I don't think you would get that much power anyways. Oh and please use better punctuation. It helps us a lot when it's easier to read.

But it would freak out your competitors anyway, just seing their faces when you open the hood and show them the 'Leaning tower of power' may be worth it!
Take a look in the race section.

Olaf.

1st) This was very difficult to read. I had to read it at least 4 or 5 times and I still didn't get everything from it.

2nd) Yes they have, Mopar Action, June 2010 they have a shoot off between a '70 Cuda with a twin turbo Viper motor with 1500 HP against a Ferrari Enzo and the Cuda just barley lost due to its Aerodynamic disadvantage :x if you want to see the entire build process for it check out this link http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/site/552 WARNING, A LOT OF PICTURES

Lots of people have put Viper motors in older cars. Just bring your wallet.

No, it's not as easy as putting an LS motor into an older car.

Wait, what a 1500hp cuda could not beat a ferrai enzo in stock form?? That sounds like god was in the hood of the enzo or the cuda was racing with no front tires.

If you want a reliable motor with what ever power your looking for it's gonna take time money and knowledge but it sounds like you got a deadline so spray it until it blows up, thats what i got outa your post i don't really know it was kinda hard to read even though i'm sure i don't type much better.

Kev

Well they ran it on pump gas so the boost was dialed back to produce more like 1000 HP and the driver of the Cuda got scared at 208 so he backed off. It could have won but the Cuda "ran out" of aerodynamics, but it was going fast enough to rip the front chrome off the windshield. Maybe I will scan the article and post it in PDF format.

The 'cuda didn't beat the enzo because the driver of the 'cuda backed off... they explain this in the article about the race and build up.
