Ok, so I got a set of autometer electric gauges and I was wondering what the thread size is for the oil pressure sender and water, its a '74 block and head. From autometer its 1/8 thread for both the oil pressure sender and water/oil/trans temp sender. Also where do I install a trans temp sender and oil temp sender?

Thanks,
Seth

Seth you will have to install a fitting in both engine and transmission pans low enough to be in the fluid.

Yeah I figured I would. Would welding a bolt into the pans work? And can someone answer my other question? What is the thread size of the oil pressure "idiot light" sender, and what is the water temp thread size, just want to know if I have to drill and tap those two to fit a 1/8 thread sender in each one.

Thanks,
Seth

The temp sender is 1/8" and the oil idiot light is two different sizes check at the oil pump you may have to use an reducer to get the 1/8" on.
