Hey for those of you who do not know, here is some killer info.

12 Circuit Wiring Harness

Ron Francis - $379.95
Painless Wiring - 335.99
EZ2Wire - $109.00
http://stores.ez2wire.com/-strse-37785/ ... Detail.bok

The EZ2Wire Kit Is the best kit I have used. My 52 Chrysler will be the 5th one I have used.

Hey if you buy a kit, mention Tony Padgett, may be he will throw me a free kit! :D

But seriously, consider these guys if you need wiring. I am ordering mine next week. I will be posting pix of the re-wire.

I wish I would have seen these before I put my Valiantback together. I looked at the others and it was just too much $$$ for me.

Are you going to use the factory terminals and connectors?
I am in the process of rewiring my 86 ram.
I bought the wire and tracked down as many of the different types of the factory terminals as I could find.
There was one female terminal I could not find, the male terminal is available.
Also haven’t found the proper stud connector for the temp, and oil sending units.
Like this http://www.repairconnector.com/products ... tail-.html

Need one for 1/8" stud so far only found for #8 studs.
I’m trying to keep it as close to Dodge color code as possible.
Where I couldn’t find the proper connectors I may use weatherpack connecters.
I have rewired 2 other Dodges before and this one I have had the most trouble finding terminals for.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Dave

I use mostly new style connectors. I crimp, solder and heat shrink every connector. I found military grad connectors which have built-in shrink ends. I replace the light sockets, and splice the few wires that I have to.

Thanks for the tip!

I was planning to go with Francis on an old Plymouth that I'm converting from 6-volt/+ ground to 12-volt/- ground and will adding/subtracting components in the circuit thereof. Sounds like like it would be worth my time to look into EZ2Wire. Will they put together custom harnesses, or do they only repop stock ones? Last time I checked, Francis will pretty much make whatever you want.

I do not know if they do custom jobs.
Luckily I have never needed one. I am content to go full aftermarket. I build hot rods, not restorations. So original has never been an issue.

I know he has a whole section of OEM type harnesses.
