i will be installing the super six set-up i have been putting together in the next few days. I was wondering if some members could post pics of their 2bbl set ups just to aid with the install. Also i will be installing the choke pulloff thermostat from carbs only, so if members could post pics of that being used with a 2bbl carb that would be awesome as well. Any links to previous threads and tips or comments would be appreciated. Thanks for the help!

(1) Have you read the Super Six install tech article?

(2) I posted pictures of the carbs only electric choke kit I installed on my brother's van HERE

yes i did read it, and thanks very much for the link to the other thread too. I wanted to see some pictures to help and see how some others had mounted the carbs only kit. I will be mounting the carbs only kit and using a 318 2bbl carb with my install.

If you are using a v-8 carburetor you will also need to fabricate the adapter plate for the choke linkage discussed HERE.

Mounting the carbsonly kit is very straightforward. Be aware that you may have to bend the mounting bracket a bit to get the rod to operate smoothly. I mounted the unit on my brother's engine and had to push the round coil slightly forward to get the rod to have a clear range of motion.
