Hi everybody,

I am working on putting an 833OD in my '72 Dart. I have the transmission ready to go together with the correct mainshaft and tail housing now. I have a dual bolt pattern aluminum bellhousing for a /6- but it has the ballstud-type clutch fork pivot. While the bellhousing has the /6 high-mount starter, it appears to have been a truck housing because of the ballstud.

Does anyone know if this bellhousing will work? Also, I don't have a clutch fork. Is this the correct one? http://www.brewersperformance.com/prodd ... LL&cat=102 If it isn't, I need the correct one! I don't have a Z-bar either! Anybody know which one is correct? Anybody want to sell me stuff I need?

Finally, I have a flywheel from a '71 /6 truck. It has 122 teeth and a 10" clutch disc (~11" cover). I see Brewer's also has a clutch package: http://www.brewersperformance.com/products.asp?cat=251 RockAuto etc. have packages as well. Any recommendations?

Here is a link to some of pictures of what I have (no bellhousing- sorry). https://plus.google.com/photos/10426738 ... 6CFgZXMuAE

Yes that is the correct ballstud fork for your bellhousing.

Just go to rockauto and look up a 1974 Plymouth Valiant Clutch kit (LUK seems to have good "stocker" kits in 9 1/4".) Should run about $95-120 depending on brand. The 10" tends to explode if pushed too hard.

For a 1972 Dart you can use the linkage and Z-bar from any slant six A-body from 1967-1976...I do like the fork rod that Brewer's has since it's about 2" longer than the OEM version so it has loads of adjustment as needed for the future (and should work with the truck ballstud fork as well).
