On page 1...you'll see the paperboard mockup..i the disassembled the paper mockup and transfered them to 3/32" aluminum sheet..cut out all the patterns and got welding..i made a 1" steel plate fixture to bolt flanges to during welding...thats about it i guess..lotsa vicegrip and welding clamps...and lotsa time..
I see there is quite a bit of bending involved, do you have dedicated fixtures for this?

I retained the patterns for replication..but no bend fixtures...all done by hand..bent over a piece of pipe in a good vice haha..nothin fancy..this may be a one of one..as my next one will be of a modular design i have as there are just too many individual parts to allign and keep straight..or ill go with tube runners in the future as ive recently built a hotwire foam cutting table i plan on turning foam velocity stacks to cast in aluminum..may just cast the entire runner with radiused entry just to ease fabrication..im. also working in a blower manifold right now and am ready to transfere to aluminum as soon as i finish a thing or two around here first..pics to follow shortly...

Nice work. Very interested to see how this works on Andrew's car. What are the port dimensions at the intake-head flange?

Thanks much,

Lou

Just want to say here...congrats to KIDD on his 2nd place finish at samoa today. Outstanding driving and effort on a untuned setup facing some throttle cable issues early on in the day! The car is a beast and ultra consistant only 4/100ths of his best time to date! Very pround of your bro! Wayto go!

Want to add that this is producing some low end grunt. Lifting the tire about 10 inches and carrying it for about 10 feet.

Can you remind us of the previous intake setup, manifold brand, mods if any and the carburetor you're using?

That's a great 60' time. Lobster would probably be interested in your chassis setup.
