Just a quick glance at the head #'s would suggest 75 - 76.

If that is the factory black paint on the head and block then they are both post-82 units. If someone has repainted them then the closest I can tell you from those photos they are post 75 (or whenever the peanut plug head came into use, I always for get the eact year).

Have you checked the part numbers in the matrix?

thanks dusteridiot the head came off the block, is that the same era stamped block 1975-1976 with a forged crank. trying down exactly what we have .
