I'd like to know what of those i can plug and what of those need to be connected somewhere.

The one between the mixture screws i blocked off. Also the big tube on the top part of the carburetor near the fuel mixture needles and accelerator piston assembly part is also blocked..

There are two big tubes behind the carburetor. One is connected to the PCV valve and the other is connected to the intake manifold that has the vacuum line going to the brake booster..

Also the red thin vacuum line going to the firewall is also connected to the back of the carburetor.. What lines are safe to plug and what lines need to go somewhere?

The thin tube on the side under the choke is going to the vacuum line that connects to the timing.

With all those ports plugged at random, it sounds like someone went on a vandalism rampage through your engine bay, yelling "THAT'S A EMISSION CONTROL! RIP IT OUT! PLUG IT OFF! HERPA DERP DERP!!!" without actually knowing what he was doing. Now it falls to you to fix it right.

Get and read these three books. Read this and this and this.

Neither of those should be blocked. Especially not the bowl vent.

Good, assuming it's the correct one.

Not correct.

Sounds like you're describing the heat/AC vacuum feed line, which should not be connected to the carburetor but rather to the intake manifold.

You see that intake manifold thick tube? That smaller tube comeing off the side. Should that red line behind the carb be connected to that instead?

What about the second tube next to the PCV valve thing? Should i plug it?

Also the ignition timing line is connected correctly i assume?
The box thing on the airfilter housing is disconnected and plugged.

Also you can see the lever that moves the accelerator pump.
Should i leave the port on the side completely open? When you push the throttle, it has a valve that closes the port and when you lift your foot off the gas, the accelerator pump lifts the valve open.

I assume it should have gone to the charcoal canister that is missing.
Is it safe to just take the plug off and leave it open?

I've ordered a charcoal canister. So it has 4 ports.. One goes to the fuel tank, one goes between mixture screws and third one goes to bowl vent.
The 4th port goes to the metal pipe that sticks up under the alternator?

Correct?

What port goes where?
The topmost left is distributor vacuum, below it is PCV, second from right is fuel tank, far right is carb bowl.

I have my PCV valve hooked up behind my carburetor. Do i need to add a T-fitting in between? Or do i plug the carburetor port and hook the PCV valve to the canister.

The distributor vacuum is hooked up to a port on the carburetor. Do i put a T fitting or what?

Carb bowl i assume is the ventilation thing on the top part of the carb where the accelerator pump linkages and stuff?

What about the thing between the mixture screws.. I assume it's a purge port or something? Doesn't it connect to the canister?

I can look under the hood of my 1980 truck concerning the hose routing.

The info about the ports I gave you was from my 1980 truck FSM. The pics of the 4-port canisters were nearly identical, so I'll bet a dollar the info is right.
