Looks like you have a good car to start learning with. In FL, Aspen/Volare finds in junk yards are easy. Try to locate a shop or repair manual. Read as many old posts as you can. You can't easily fix something if you don't know how it works. Try and research before you start a repair or modification. There will be times frustration will set in, back off, re-think and go at it again. Hit the swap meets, build the car the way you want and have fun.

Does anyone know if the volare wagon ever came with a 3rd seat?

tis is my baby, i got the heater controls finialy fixed and i timed it for Fuel economy, i know i need to do something with the engine compartment but i dont have much money to do n e thing to it.

btw i dont think it came with a third seat, i know the Grand Fury did. The volare hatch isnt designed for third seats.

I love the Volare wagons. It's a great size. I used to have one I used for work. I do IT work all over the state of Virginia and I put a ton of miles on mine. Mine was also a slant powered automatic. I was in the process of creating my own Sport Wagon. I loved that car and I am still looking for another. Mine had to be scrapped after getting the frame bent in a wreck (not my fault).
Your wagon looks great, lots of possibilities.
Check out http://www.aspenandvolare.com Lots of good F body specific knowledge there.
