Meanwhile, '67 wasn't quite the start of part-throttle downshift on Torqueflites; that actually came as a production test run in '66 as documented here.

And speaking of TSBs:

• Governor noise on '66 904s—I had an original unrebuilt '66 904 in the '90s that worked fine but made this irritating noise.

• Increased WOT upshift speeds on 904s and 727s, early '66

• Cushioned clutch for smoother neutral-to-drive engagement on Slant-6 904s, early '66

• Always check to make sure you don't have any screws loose!

• Real cold out? Shift your Torqueflite to Neutral before starting the engine…

• …unless yours is a Torqueflite made after this round of changes, then go ahead and start in Park.

• Looks like a number of small-nose torque converters and associated transmissions escaped their Canadian cage in 1972 (assuming the smaller nose described is the same small nose as the '67-down item).
