I added content to the post.
I still need to compile a parts list..
I am not quite sure what trans mount my swap used.. so I need to get a part # for that as well.

It's a mostly complete detailed document now.
Hope it helps out you future T5 Swappers!

Can I get dimensional drawings from one of you guys that have done this? I've got Wilcap working on the flywheel and clutch setup, and got a guy with a cnc machine waiting to get started on the adapter, just figured if someone had done this already, no sense in me reinventing the wheel (adapter)

I don't currently have any drawings.

I would take me a while to get that completed. I am not sure if Lou has / Had any drawings from when he put the group buy togther.

Ideally the Adapter Plate I have needed to be 3d Scanned then that will solve our issues.

Nope, no drawings. Dropped off stuff and measurements at machine shop and they handled it all off the cuff. If Wilcap wants to produce a plate, I would consider mailing them my spare.

Please see Here About expressing interest in buying an adapter plate.

The more people we can get involved, the easier this project will go, so if you have been thinking about this swap now's the time to get it started.

Thanks for all the research. I ordered/received one of the new Gill Welding adapter plates and sourced a OD Bellhousing. I feel like I am on my way and will work acquiring a fresh T5 Trans. The one thing I want to do that I feel though expensive but extremely helpful will be the Hydraulic Throw Out Bearing.

Has anyone done this swap and utilized a Hydraulic T.O. Bearing that can add some insight?

STILL LOVING THIS FORUM

It is possible that I may be going to a hydraulic TOB, as I am building dual Exhaust for the car now.. and it will be tight with the linkage, Not sure yet.

For now it works with the linkage, but is probably not Ideal.
