HI: Am parting a 64 Valiant 2 door sedan and someone asked me if the doors fit a dart. I assume he means a 64 Dart and a sedan if they made one.
Anybody know? Thanks, Alan

All '64-'66 Dart and Valiant doors interchange between like body styles. So, the doors from a Valiant 4-door will fit a Dart 4-door, the doors from a Valiant 2-door sedan will fit a Dart 2-door sedan, the doors from a Dart convertible will fit a Valiant convertible. (Not sure on the Barracuda; would need to look it up. Pretty sure the door itself will interchange, but the glass is different.)

'63 is not included in the interchange because of door latch/catch differences, but '63 Dart and Valiant doors interchange among like body styles.

I believe the 64-66 Dart GT, Barracuda and Valiant Signet are interchangeable with each other as well.

This is the most recent post I could find regarding door interchange. I need to replace a door on a '65 Barracuda due to rust. The guts of the door I believe are salvageable. Can I use any '64-'66 hardtop door? Maybe a convertible door?

Thanks! :D

Hardtops and convertibles **should** have the same doors.

The 2 door sedan doors are different than the hardtops.

Yes, a door without a window frame for sure. I was just wanting to be sure of the interchange before I went and bought a '65 Valiant convertible door that's local.

I believe you will have to swap the glass from the old door.
