Hello friends,
my Questions is about bodywork.

here where I live, there are no dodge dart hardtop coupe, only 4dr sedan.

I am interested in knowing which parts are compatible and which are not when transforming a 4dr dart into a 2dr.

Immediate questions are, is the rear glass the same? (speaking of 70-72 darts)

The windshield, and the A-pillar, are the same 4dr and 2dr?

Is there a possibility of finding doors, glass doors, glass machines in junkyards that ship to Miami?

and, is it possible to also find a roof in junkyard?

I appreciate you take your time to read, I know it's a crazy idea, but not impossible;
get an idea of how much I want a dart coupe.

I think you are way better off looking for a different car. What about the door post/quarterpanel, quarter glass, front seat differences?

And yes I do believe the A pillar, front glass, and rear glass are all different from 2 to 4 doors.

I have considered removing the front clip from a 70-72 car and putting it on a 75-6 Dart or Valiant because I like the look of the older cars. The rear clip wouldn't match, but it would look better coming....

I have been told that '67-9 2 door post cars use same glass as 4 door FWIW.

There was a post many years ago of someone who converted his 4 door to a 2 door. I don't remember which site it was on, MAYBE Moparts.

But it was a MASSIVE undertaking.

The amount of time and effort would be better spent on just finding a good donor shell/car and doing a body swap IMO.

Thank you for your answers! I appreciate it,
I understand, another possibility is to use a donor coupe, I can find the Brazilian version of the 69, or the later one from 1979.

Do you think that the investment in hours would be less? or better invested

Where are you at? 2 door darts should be fairly easy to find in Miami. Brazil, maybe not so much. If you are going to cut up a 4 door dart, why not build a ute? Not so many of them outside of Australia and they are kinda neat looking.

I've seen wagons converted to two doors. I understand that uses OEM panels.
