Thanks for the info on the OD case. I remember one problem was that the OD extension housing was made for the smaller yoke. Next to Mark's Jericho this will be the trickest transmission ever put behind a Slant! Keep on building.
What is your opinion of Dave Muller's Lenco?

The DC housing is for the 30 spline and there was a truck OD extension that is a 30 spline also.

I wanted to do the street version of the Lenco.
They put it in an aluminum case and not Magnesium.
It will handle 750-1000 HP, but at 5K the last time I checked I decided to go this route.
For now.

Good to hear from you Mr. The Exner Geek!

My all aluminum cased transmission weighs 81 Lbs.
Using a steel side cover till I can figure out how to use an aluminum one or find a race part.
Placing rivets in my rear wheel tubs now prior to reinstalling the Dana.

It's cold here in Texas, did a bunch of work outside before it gets real cold.
They are calling for 14F in a few days.

It's been about a month since I posted.
We survived the Texas deep freeze, you guys up North live with this all the time, but for us it was a bitch.
Dana rear end is together and brakes are mounted.
Working on the rear sheet metal and fitting new aluminum as needed.
New master brake cylinder test fit and I am building the adapter.
I think I have decided on an hydraulic clutch system.
A new set of pedals is on order from S&W Race Cars.
I will fit them and see how to interface with the clutch.
Also getting all the fuel system parts on order.

Yes, all aluminum.
81 lbs. vs ~ 120 for a steel box.
Side cover is steel and Shifter is Hurst Ram Rod inline with reverse on the separate lever.

No huge progress to report, just seems like a million small things.
Lots of sheet metal work, fixing some panels with fasteners.
I found a kit for my Airheart master cylinder and I am using that for the clutch.
Purchased the American Powertrain hydraulic release bearing.
Webers are apart and going to hydra-blast for cleaning.
Still waiting for the Bogart Wheels.
Did sell the rear wheels and tires so I got some garage space and cash.
Won't make MoKan.

Welding header for last three cylinders.
What a mess.
Sure would like to talk with the Clifford designer.
