Yep. Rick won all the marbles with Greg Runner Up.

London Dragway could use some improvement in getting cars down track in a timely manner. We ran our final just before midnight. There was a Lot of unnecessary down time between rounds.

What a whirlwind weekend.

Fun event, but Disorganized / too slow on the Track side of things.

Thanks Rob, for your dedication / efforts / bustin' some heads, as Race Coordinator on this one!

Feel free to throw in all the color commentary you want, Greg!

Ruster was on point this weekend. You made a super solid push for the Championship this year!

If you hadn’t gone .0003 red in the finals you would have been just 5 points behind Rick.

Great racing action for the final!!

I guess you’d better git to work then, Rick! I hear that boss of yers is purdy tuff on ya!

I’m about to start on my second cup of coffee so I’m ready to verify points.

My boss has his requirements to meet first…

Congratulations!! (Tentatively… )

Anytime Wayne! Even bad coffee is better than no coffee.

It was wet, and cold, and then sunny in that order!

My car ran well 12.83/103 mph at 62 degrees outside. But at 42 degrees on the last run It had slowed to 13.0/ 99. Of course with 2+ hours between some of the runs it was like first run off the trailer every time! :D
A/F gauge said 13.1 on the fast run. That is the only time I saw it all weekend! :?

Watching from the stands (It is a poser thing) I heard a guy say, "There is The Ruster!" He went on talking about the UTG Youtube channel. I was teasing Greg about his new found celebrity status and I will be damned - word is getting out! Good job this weekend Greg!

Thanks for the ears on the ground Wayne... Appreciate it.

Some non slant racers have commented on the video about " that guy is usually top dawg or Runner Up"

I was runner up in every sense that weekend.

2nd on sat.. 2nd on sun.. 2nd in Points Championship.

Congrats to Rick.. Well earned sir!

Thing about Ruster is that it's a bit unique.. there's no mistaking that thing as maybe someone ele's car that looks similar or something. Maybe I built some sort of mechanical celebrity....?
Not sure but I have more work to do to the car and my driving that's for sure!

Greg

I had a great time at the London race this year. I still didn’t win a round all year…… but it was great to see the slanted family. It was fun getting to bring Adelynn for her first trackside camping trip, filled with rain, wind that blew the tent down and 36 degree weather. She actually loved it all. Hopefully one day she can race with us too.

It was exciting to watch the final points battle and it was cool getting to watch 3 of my favorite slant 6 racers battle it out. Congratulations to Dad on pulling out one last win and taking the points championship! And congrats to Greg and Lou for being right there and taking 2nd and 3rd. I’m hoping to have the 5 speed in the race car this winter and be back battling with you guys next year!

Here is a link to the videos i took of the races Saturday night. Hopefully the link works:
