Lou, it still looks good for Ohio and Clay City.

Thanks Greg!

So I am going down a road I've never been before, hopefully the outcome will be good. Bought a Biondo Terminator adjustable trans brake button for the car. You can adjust the release speed of the button to provide from 0 to .045 seconds of delay. IF I release the button now when I see the last yellow flash I usually go .03X red. Hoping I can add some delay in the button and not have to wait for the mythical time when the bottom LED is full on.

Yes, the button is legal in all sanctioning bodies rulebooks that I run.

cool.

I adjust the delay on the MS3's two step function - It does not delay the timing of the switch at all but It changes the RPM at which the car comes off the line through the starting beam. I find I hafta futz with it at every track to get a good light, due to the slight differences in rollout.. or maybe I had too much 5 hour energy's and starbucks and I go red no matter what.

You are doing the same thing with that "Little Mini Box" Transbrake Button.

It's a box in a really small form factor.

gogettum Dennis!

Thanks Greg! Yes, it is a "mini-box". When this type button came out they created a crap storm. Now, no big deal.

Very interesting, Dennis. Will look into that kind of thing. I bet MS3 can do it with a simple delay and not RPM, but maybe have to program it.

Have fun!

Lou

Finally got the car home today. New slicks are on. Time for an oil change, check over underneath, and new numbers to go on.

First points race is next Saturday.

Hey, Dennis, aren't you get too old to be playing with toy cars?

Thanks Will!

It's starting to seem that way Charlie. It's getting harder and harder to keep motivated. It'll be all better this weekend.

Looking forward to it Lou!

Got my IHRA credentials yesterday. Haven't been a member for 35 or so years.

Charlie may be right. Took yesterday off to finish Teresa's Mustang damper replacement and take the Valiant to 41 to test. Finished the Mustang, popped my other knee trying to get in the Valiant on the trailer. Can barely walk this morning.

Will try again tomorrow.

Dang, sorry to hear about the knee... Take it easy and see if tomorrow feels better.

Lou
