Last weekend Chad came up and helped put the 4.86 rear in the car. All good until a u-joint bolt stuck in the yoke and he rounded the head getting it back out. Got new bolts and some taps to clean out the bolt holes, should finish it up next weekend.

Sent the leaking slick back to the dealer. Found 3 pores through the sidewall. Hoosier is going to warranty it. In the meantime I brought my 30X9s home. They're still good if I need them.

41 posted that the Pumpkin Nationals in October is in jeopardy due to high gas prices and low car counts. Add in a national shortage of traction compound and it may not happen at all.

Locked in my double entry for the Pumpkin Nationals at 41 first weekend in October. Friday Sep 30 is a $4100 Gambler's race with no entry fee. That's right, free entry with any paid entry into the Twin $10K race.

Now all I gotta do is bring s running car back from Clay City.

T&T day for the Pumpkin Nationals. On his 4th pass in the car Patrick went 8.04@84.8. Fastest 1/8 mile pass the car has made since I bought it. Great job Patrick!!

First round of No Box today Patrick went 8.14 on an 8
10 dial. Unfortunately his opponent was dead-on.

First round of Box I went 8.3482 on an 8.34. Guy I raced went 6.5777 on a 6.57. I treed him .0007. MOV was .0002 for me.

Patrick couldn't be there today so I did double duty.

First round of No Box I went .009 red. Also went 8.28 on my 8.34 dial from yesterday. (No time run today)

Lowered the chip.in the 2 step 200 and tried my luck in Box. Was .042 to his .014 so that was that. Car went 8.31.

Buy back round I dialed 8.30. Was .010 on the tree and got treed. He was .006. Lost in the other end in a double breakout by .012.

Worst light anyone cut against me was an .015.

I couldn't believe how many. 00X lights, .00X dead ons, and .000X MOVs lost. It was incredible.

I can't wait for next year!
