I think it speaks volumes as to just how good Ron Hamby was that he has been gone what 4 years and is still almost 400 points ahead of Rodney.

Good point, D. I always say Ron and Kay Hamby, because no way he could have done what he did without her there working with him 99% of the races. I had an afternoon with Rodney last Sunday, and he still taught me something new about how to race...

Ron & Rodney are both really amazing! And if you think about it Rodney has always foot braked, making him more impressive yet! And for the 10-12 years I raced with Ron I never saw so may 1st rd byes in all my life! :D :D I really do miss having him race with us!

I really miss Ron too!

I had me a perfect 1.000 year this time!! Two first round byes and Lou gave me a red light.

Good or lucky… I’ll take either one….

Every time I lined up against Ron Hamby I knew I had about a 3% chance of winning… maybe…
He was really good at the finish line too! There were several times I just knew I had him… until right at the last second and I he would scrub off just a tad, etc.
