The tamer is to give you a controlled "slippage" correct? So it doesn't hit to hard?

Yes, on those brutal 2300 rpm launches.

Zilla, yes not broken yet.
Rick, if a smart person could get it adjusted it should provide a slipper clutch.
Zilla, thank you sir, can I have another.
Rob, yes still planning on Tulsa, and I too am looking for a smart slant guru.

Been thinking about what is the problem, besides the driver.
Pretty sure after Tulsa I will put my four barrel back on and test that.
November down here should allow some good test hits.

Some of you might know this but Jeff Kendall is having back problems.
I am sure he would like to hear well wishes from his slant family.

I know a guy who knows that clutch thingy stuff. He might not be busy either.

Sorry to hear about Jeff. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

I sure hope when I put my 4 speed back in all I have to do is raise rpm to about 5000 and dump the clutch! :D Probably going to need those traction bars though!

That would be a great help I'm sure!

Rick, your Valiant has suspension rise, that should make your combo work.
With my no travel, it's not easy.
Now that being said one of the smart fellows will tell me B.S.

With no suspension travel making it leave is pretty much witchcraft.

Zilla
I had a friend take the rear video, first time I had seen this angle in HD.
It seems to be spinning on this launch, maybe a few revolutions.
As it starts to move it goes a little right.
Not as much as before.
I have the tires up with different right and left pressures.
Maybe I turned the wheel a little on this pass.
It was going a lot more right on previous launches.
I was raising tire pressure for two reasons, get a little spin and then get the move to the right out.
I shifted at 6k, I can almost see that short shift from the tire patch going into second.
This video has a lot of information.
It looks better on a computer screen.

Have you plotted you IC and such?

I know I'm not telling you any secrets here, but until you get it to pitch rotate at the hit you're peeing into the wind.

It may be time for a 904 and footbraking it.

I could write a book about what is wrong with the suspension.
The ladder bars can not move the forward mount location up because the drive shaft will hit the last crossmember.
I am planning on replacing the rear shocks with some QA1 that will have a longer length, stroke.
That should give me more rear travel. More than the current 3/4 inch.
