Cool! So the beam power/pattern is comparable to the JW Speaker?
Better than.

How does the Holley RetroBright compare to the Philips H6024LED?

There is no comparison. The Philips is an excellent headlamp. The Holley RetroBright is unsafe junk. Not a legitimate product—it is ineffective, unsafe, and not legal. Read the first post in this thread, where it says (about the Peak "LED headlamp"):

This dreck is worse than the equally-Chinese-and-shoddily-engineered Holley Retrobright.

Looks like you're gonna be able to add a few items to your list of don't wanna do's.

JW Speaker will be releasing all-new LED sealed beams in a few months. I was just at their HQ last week, and I got a detailed look at them including an extensive night-drive. They are much better than the present already-excellent JWS units, and they'll be significantly less expensive, with a bunch of options (with/without built-in turn signal/parking light/daytime running light, with/without lens heaters for driving through sloppy winter weather, etc). They don't look anything like sealed beams, but they also don't look anything like the present JWS headlamps, and the overall look is cleaner.

Totally irrelevant amused comment:

Maybe I missed mentions of their name in the past, but JW Speaker is the manufacturer of the "unobtainium" taillights on my 1970 lawn tractor.

I had just assumed they were out of business.

I bet they no longer make "JW Speaker 145" lenses.

JW Speaker's first product was the P-38 military can opener.

I've got a couple of those. Used to be something like 25¢ at the army surplus store. I always had one on my keychain in high school.
Guess I figured you never know when you might have to open a C-ration.

Is JWSpeaker making their new improved 7" headlights now?

Thinking about upgrading my 68 Dart and want to install the best 7" lamps I possibly can.

I still have the steel P-38 I got when I was drafted in 1967. Not the wussy aluminum one that came out later.

I was in (ate) through the transition from C-rations to the modern MREs. There was a reason the first MRE meat patties were called hockey pucks.

Enlisted in the Nat'l Guard in late '83. Saw my first C-rat (and last) during bivouac near the end of basic. My first MRE's were also those "beef" or "pork" patties. Did you ever actually smell one of them before re-hydrating?

Well, no, as I said just yesterday: in a few months.
