Depuis j'ai acheté une Plymouth Valiant 200 de 1964 équipé d'un moteur Slant 6 de 170ci que je démonte pour remise en état et je suis à la recherche d'un collecteur d'échappement qui est fendu à deux endroits.

J'en ai trouvé un sur Ebay mais il est vendu pour les moteurs Slant 6 de 198 et 225ci dont voici le lien:

Il vaut mieux d'acheter aussi un trousse d'estrangulateur electrique comme décrit ici; avec carburateur de type au moins mi-d'origine, ça prennerai le trousse № 1231.

I’m reassured about the exhaust manifold now and will go ahead and order it.

As for the flange gasket, I ordered the complete exhaust system from Waldron Exhaust; it comes with the flange gasket, which I assume will be of good quality.

Regarding the manifold-to-block gasket, one will be included in the complete engine gasket set I’m ordering to fully reseal the engine. I can get that from a French retailer (U.S. Pièces Auto), but I don’t know the brand of gaskets they supply.

We ventured into Quebec this summer after a coil boot failed on my wife's 3.0L Ford V-6. 15 miles from the international border in Vermont. I was able to fix it roadside in the US, but it set us back a few hours, and we did not spend as much time in Quebec as we would have liked.
We loved seeing the different language on the road signs and other seemingly American institutions displayed in French!. For example, NAPA auto parts in NAPA pieces'd auto. My daughter and I geeked out on that one for a few days!

Within 2 hours, we navigated the French Canadian countryside and back to the New York side of Lake Champlain to head to Lake Placid, NY. We never made it to Montreal, but maybe in the future someday.
