I can't believe there isn't any slant six racing in Washington, I see so many old Mopars on ebay that are in Washington. I've also seen several posts from people in washington state. Somebody out there really needs to get something organized. (hint hint)

I like the slant six people! Yes, all out racing with a slant six can get expensive, but I can get started with an $800, 19 second car and not get laughed off the track. Instead I get encouragement and suggestions. :)

Some of the friends I've made have offered me affordable used parts as they upgrade. We stick together and help each other out, because it's fun to get faster every year. I enjoy a little fabrication now and then and I like that I can be part of the group without 10 years of experience.
i live in washinton, someday i will build up a slant 6

There aren't many into slants in Washington, I see a few people pop up every so often from the Seattle area, and I believe one person lived/was think of moving to Spokane. A slant six race here would maybe consist of four people to start out with(there are a lot of slants in Washington, just no modified ones or people that think they're anything worth making quick). A race over here would grow with time, and I would make time for a race over here, but personally... I wouldn't have time to actually help organize a race over here. Does anyone know if there are any majorly quick slants up in this state?

Someone has managed to get into the 9's with a slant? I thought the fastest ones were in the 10 second range.
most of the darts with slants around here are unrestored, and i live in the seattle area. there are a ton of /6 cars here, i can drive around seattle and see 10 darts within an hour!!! My car was even original sold in seattle!
otherwise, I dont think there is a single modified slant in the state!

You need to get out more. I have heard rumors that there is a turbo slant running at Monroe Speedways 1/8 mile track. Fairly quickly, in the low 100's, or so I am told. I suspect their are a few at Bremerton and quite possibly Bellingham also. I don't know about Pacific Raceways.
