Well I didn't think that it could get any better with my 100 shot of NOS, but it did. Yesterday was awesome and the slant six impressed everyone at the track. I ran a 13.02 at 102 mph with a .177 60ft time and on top of that, I had a .000 (perfect) reaction time. How is everyone racing this year? I would like to see how everyone else is doing. I'll update you with my stats throughout this year. I don't know what is more fun, getting my slant six down to 13.0 or watching everyone take a step back when they ask me what I am running and I pop the hood to show them my slammin slant six!!!!!!

Ummmmm.....I may be nit-picking here, but could you clarify, please? I suspect what you meant was 1.77, not .177.

SWEET!!......Even if it happened to be luck, you have some decent timing in that go-foot to be able to cut a light that good. I just hope the rust in mine will let me get good again, after twenty years.

Well, so far....not. Car is still in building stages. Have the floor pans in, and the forward engine cover in place. I need to pull the dummy motor so I can get the cover mounts in and fab up the rear trans tunnel. After that, I can color-spray the engine bay and underside, then mount the powerplant/trans, wire it up, build a fuel system and exhaust system, then paint the outside. I do expect to get a few passes done yet this season.

I'm changing gears in the red car this week for a track rental next Saturday. I'll be able to make about 30 passes, so I'll be able to get a good baseline on motor and then spray away.

13.0 is cool, but it don't fell near as good as a 12:99 will.
