skraeken- that IS an interesting setup. It looks like it uses a flywheel driven camshaft. That would solve some of the issues with connecting an overhead cam.

Here a Picture of something me and the boys cobbled together 1 weekend. I had to piece together 2 chains to reach the slant crank snout....run the stock EI off a short chunk of the old cam.

We used a stock Super Six manifold and BBD. You have to make 2 studs longer.

I used a stock Chev v8 thermostat housing which fit the upper rad house perfectly.

Id say most folks could put this together in an afternoon for less than $300.

Send me $50.
