Yepper! I'm currently running the NGK equivalent of the 985, which is the ZFR5N. It has more modern RFI suppression components and a little better tip design, and also seem to be a little better made. I really like these plugs and use them in all my applications that'll take them. The difference in emission test results was LARGE between new standard NGK plugs and new extended-nose NGK plugs on my '89 318 Dodge pickup—much cleaner exhaust with the extended-nose plugs. Lots of late-model Mopars use these plugs as original equipment; if you get a parts drone who refuses to take a part number, ask for NGK spark plugs for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with 4.0 six-cylinder engine.

Luckily the Autolite ones are easy to get at any auto parts store here... they look good...sadly I don't have a drool tube head and there is no equivalent to that plug in a BL style that I've been able to find.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm pretty sure there's no taper-seat extended-nose plug.

FWIIW, the ZFR5N is catalogued and shelved under the part number 3459. When you are dealing with the usual parts store drone, you'll probably have better luck asking for an NGK 3459 than an NGK ZFR5N. Both numbers will be on the box. You have to keep it simple if you want to get what you want.
