Hi,
I have a 73 Duster and I need the three bushings that hold the wiper lingage onto the arms. Conveniently, they all went away at the same time...in the rain. Also, where can I find a gasket for where the wiper pivots go through the body near the base of the hood?

contact schumacher for your wiper pivot seals and gaskets. he sells them as a kit for around 12 bucks. fro your wiper bushings, look in the "help" section of your local parts store. i have bought them from autozone/advance before but i'm not sure what the part number is or what years they fit. if you don't see them, ask to see the catalog behind the counter.

To make them easier to install, soak those new nylon bushings in HOT water a while to soften a bitj. Use a pair of channel lock pliers to press them into place, and fill the sockets with white lithium grease before snapping the linkage together.

Schumacher Creative Services http://www.engine-swaps.com has the wiper pivot seal kits. They come with a pair of grease zerts you can install in the base of the pivot to allow you to keep it greased. My last catalog offers the A-body kit for $11.50, plus $4.50 shipping.

Personally, I've found the easiest way to put them in is just to squeeze them in using a c-lamp and a socket that just fits around the bottom. I think it was a 9/16, but I could be wrong.

Does anyone have a part number from Advanced? All they had today was some larger ones for a Camry or something...

I have gotten the plastic/nylon bushings from yearone.com before pretty reasonable too IIRC. Just go to their website.

The linkage bushings from Motormite (Help), no longer come in a package for Mopar, only. It is an assortment, that includes two Mopar bushings, that means you would need two packages. Don't have the part number handy, but can get it later, after I go to the shop.
Also, my local Dodge dealer has them in stock. Close to the same price, and I think better quality. Mopar part number 3799089
