For those of you sick of my smart alec injection advice and whining about blowing 14 and a half inches of rear end to bits,,,

I got the 8 3/4 posted by Matt on the board and forwarded to me by Doug, and I just wanted to say thanks to the pair of them for hooking me up. I think they pulled some goodies out because all the bolt heads are clean, but it turns OK, and I am just happy to have it. Thanks Guys, I really appreciate the help!

It was a fun drive too. The wheel barrow blew its left manifold off and it spent its 255,000th mile turning 6800 rpms doing 75 going up the grapevine with that little needle stuck on the white bit that separates norm from the red bit. My ears were ringing but I made it to Oceanside from Berkeley area in a little over seven hours. I came home up 101 thinking I would take it easy and proceeded to hammer the little bugger all the way up there too. Tried to fix the manifold with a coke can (they don't make them like they used to), hose clamps and a tube of Permatex gold (orange) and it made it ten miles (next time, soup can).

It’s all fixed now. And the Valiant should be running as soon as I get a battery and my shaft welded shorter.
Thanks again you guys!
trouble.

It's nice to know one of my random posts actually helped someone... good luck.. I have a couple extra, small bolt pattern axles if you're interested.. very cheap.. you can send them to moser and get them reworked to the larger BP.. just a thought...

Watch it dutra, the wheel barrow is getting upgraded and I think we are gona end up in the 16's (with at least 1 broken axel.) Then it's going Rally racing, but before that... do you still need some scrap cast iron because I have a block, a head and a rear end to go, which the wheel barrow will happily deliver....

Watch it Dutra, the wheel barrow is getting upgraded and is going to end up in the low 16's, then it's going desert /rally racing. BUt before that... do you still want cast iron? I have a block , some other junk, and a rear end to go.
