I picked this up on Ebay, total cost, including shipping, $15.60. Is this a suitable carb for the Super 6? I figured it was worth the money just for the parts if nothing else but it would be nice if it will actually work.

It'll take some choke lever adaptation to make it work cleanly on a slant, but yeah, you should be able to make it work OK.

Cool beans! Of course, I'll want to put a kit in it at a minimum and I know about the throttle shaft thing; I'll definitely check that out. It doesn't look like the tag is still there so I'll have to figure out what kit to ask for when I'm ready to to tear it down. It looks a lot like another one I saw listed, model # 8135 for a 77 Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth 318 Auto.
