Want a Daytona to replace it?
No thank you. Maybe later… I’m still thinking about getting your Duster back… That needs to come first… |

Rob, do you still have the gasser project?
Yup! It’s still on the list for sure! Sir Lancerlot won’t be leaving the stable.

No thank you. Maybe later… I’m still thinking about getting your Duster back… That needs to come first… I'd make you a smoking deal on the Daytona, and delivery is available. |

I had to go back and read from Post #1. Not thru it yet, about halfway so far. But a lot of parallels to my projects ( no military "business trips" though for me) and various delays. I have a volare that's been in pieces for too long now |

Remind me what state of completion this is in? It is a pretty almost "Rick Covalt" blue color. I love the look of that body style. It would make someone a super nice car. Now if I didn't already have a nice blue car......... |

The chassis is done. It's ready for a motor and trans. (225/904) driveshaft is made as are headers. Needs wiring, shifter, and new belts. It's got a 4.56/spool in it with Moser axles. Radiator/fan are ready to drop in. Fuel cell and pump are in it. The big bucks would be the Monocoque wheels. Delivery available. |

I started the disassembly the other evening. I got the fenders, nose off and cut the K member out. Man, I’m glad we didn’t try to race this thing the way it was butchered! Next time I’m over at the Radcliff shop I’ll lop the front end off for Lee (crash damage repair for his Horizon). Then I’ll remove the shortened 8 3/4 and cut up the rest for scrap. |

I got the core support and inner fenders lopped off last night. I’ll take that and the K member to the Lemons race at Road Atlanta in December to hand off to Lee for his Horizon. |
