Wow, I don't know which one to order for my '72 Dart. I'll just be using a supersix intake and 2bbl carb, it's automatic, has power steering and a mini-starter. I'll be getting the local muffler shop to fabricate an exhaust system, so I guess whatever's easiest for them. Would prefer one of the duals.

What would be recommended? It'll be stock for now and then get slightly warmed over :)

more concerned with starter there is plenty of room also will it work with the offy dual carb intake manifold starters on trucks are lower than cars :?:
How much drop clearance do you need :?: I will take some measurements just by looking at a few pics, looks to have plenty of room. The header tube to starter on the top side is 1 3/4" bottom of starter I will let you know Don.

I have installed all of them in my Duster. For what you plan to do, the PowerPie-DC should do the trick. This was just put on Dodge Girls Duster last week. We took off the Hookers off and installed the PP-DC the sound is allot deeper tone then it was, and has more grunt off the line. She is running a stock 225 with the super six set up as well. We ran the same set upon my TwIsTeR starting in the low 20's dropping to low 16's with just some bolt ons. As far as True flow design, better for high performance cars.

Have a good day Don.

sounds good to me. If I decide to turn my slant into a high-performance motor, will this pipe accomodate that for the most part?

Yes they will work fine. If you plan on running 13's or faster I would go for the True Flow design. Still waiting on Charlie for the early model 170 application? Here is the first turbo design, True Flow to fallow soon. We are making X and Y pipes as well. These will be ready for sale this week. Talk to you later Don :)

Have a good day all Don. T-3 and T-4 mounting on same flange

I like the look of these, and for what I plan to do with my Volare's slant, these would be right for me. When you had these installed, did you have them as dual pipes all the way back, or did you have them going into one? For me, I would probably have them going into one pipe out the back.

I had the pipes Y to one pipe around tranny mount. I ran two tail pipes tho. Some people say true duels with X pipe is the best, then others say the Y is the way to go. So I came up with this new system X+Y system.

Only testing will tell if this configuration will work. What do you all think :?:

I will be glad to do this for you oldblue. We should have the car back together by next weekend :) I will be calling Charlie today to see if the 170 is ready yet. Seems like I missed the boat on this, I'll catch the next one. See yall later Don

If the muffler has sufficient flow capacity a Y-pipe makes just as much power as duals with an X-pipe. It also weighs less and costs less.

The idea with both X and Y pipes is to combine pulses. I don't expect a benefit to using both together myself.

Is it possible for you to make an X w 2'' in to 2 1/2" to 2" out? Just a thought, not sure I want 2" restriction with true 2" duals. I currently have an H, even though I asked for an X. I didn't bitch though because the rest of the exhaust looked superb.

Yes that would not be a problem.
