Thanks for posting these videos Steve!

Makes it a little easier to be half a world away and missing "My" race.

Seymour left the record request forms with Mark and Rodney before he left Clay City, so no official confirmation on those record points yet.

You'd better git 'em in quick boys! The end of the racin' season ain't too fer away!

Post subject:  Hey....I've been busy....

takin' things apart. Well I have been looking for a new rug for the living room. It's a shame 'cause the old one really tied the room together.

Anyway.... here are some Clay City highlights:

Zilla visited my place and briefly toured the garage. He wasn't impressed with the hyper pak and offered me $500 for my son's Demon. :?

Jumped into Big D's Dart (yeah I touched it) and made the trip down. Everything was fine till this came on one of his favorite stations:

He changed the channel and I was subjected to 80's hair bands. :x

We stopped for gas and discovered Dadtruck has a shoplifting problem. D was conned into being a mule for the stolen goods.

No I am not making this stuff up......more to come.

Post subject:  Rock Auto Cards

I almost forgot to post this part.

Saturday
Seymor snagged two $25 for Longest distance and best reaction time or closest ET to Dail In
Lukus got one $25 for which ever Seymore didn't get.

Sunday
Rodney had the best Reaction time and ran closest to his dail in on Sunday so he took home two $25 gift cards too.

When I get home (or more likely tomorrow) I'll dig out the note pad that has the notes on this and post the specifics.

Mrs. Lancer thanks for the update. Big thanks to Dadtruck who scored a connection with Rock Auto for $125 worth of gift cards. Also thanks to Big D who came up with the criteria for their dispersal.

Now, back to the story:

After a fast getaway from the Wendys/gas station the Dillinger Gang made it's way to the Red Roof Inn in Winchester. Big D signed the ledger as Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Unfortunately, Seymour must have been the Mrs.

After much BSing we found out that an FAA facility had burned to the ground in Chicago. Zilla was out of Cook County and couldn't be blamed this time. Dennis and Seymour decided to stay put and later went out for dinner. DT and I headed for the track. Dennis also mentioned something about Hookers later and I figured he had scored some headers off Craigslist. More to come.....

actually it was Five Fingers Dennis that said,, "maybe I'll find the car of my dreams" and folded the rag list into his back pocket,,,

at that time we both figured it was a freebe,, if WV had not noticed, hours later there was a sale price in the fine print,, me and Five Fingers would be secure in our ignorance.

Post subject:  Records are official!!!

PM from Seymour:
Quote:
I got the paperwork in the mail today. Rusty Heisten set the B/A 1/8 mile record on 9/26/14 6.881 and 97.423MPH. Rodney Hargis set the D/G 1/8 mile record on 9/27/14 8.582 and 78.196MPH. I will send Ryan the information to update the records list but I would consider them official at this time.
That puts Rodney in the lead with 165.

Rusty is in second with 160

Lukus is third with 150

Ron is fourth with 140.

Looking forward to Mason-Dixon! :D
