I assume there is a logical reason why they are not equally spaced, there has to be, right?!?

Probably the same reason Mopars used left handed lug nuts and no one else did :D

Okay, So all 4 torque converter bolts are in finger tight. Once I got it lined up correctly, all 4 bolts went in easily.

So is it now okay for me to tighten the Bolts down with a wrench?

Yes and I always put lock tight on mine. Especially if they are the small bolts. They do come loose! :D

Okay, I removed the bolts and reinstalled them with loctite, per your suggestion, then I tightened them all the way.
Then I reinstalled the thin metal cover on the trans, and then I bolted the engine to trans brace, or bracket.

Babysteps onward…!

Just take some spray paint or a paint marker the next time it gets removed and mark one bolt and hole
so you know how it lines up! I usually forget that step myself. Or I wash the paint marks off when cleaning everything up! :D :D
