Pic of the adapter , sample mounted in the engine bay.
The brass couplings is water to the turbo
One of them (pressure) is coming by a T- connection from a heater hose.

Pic down, is the return from turbo.
I tried different possible positions for the two turbo cooler lines.
By use transparent hoses, i could se when the water circulated. Or not..
Im using Davies Craig electric pump, sometimes it circulate the water quite modest, and when hot whith a lot more pressure.
My first test was with two T-connections from the heater hoses. But the water was nearly not circulate at all.
Now i think it will work, hopeful also when water is hot.

Pic of the support bracket. when the bolts are tightened it will press against the adapter and support it.
But is anyway free to expand/retract during the heat cycles.
Try to minimize the risk for cracks in the cut manifold..

Hello all slant friends
This picture is coming from a book by David wizard. It show a cross section of a intake runner and valve . A common problem for most standard heads, are the short radius flow. On the second pic the air flow cannot follow the short -side bend. ( Higher test pressure ) It flow straight to the valve pocket side ,

The drawings of the slant six have an injector with 30 degree angle. Im running E85 (30 % more fuel ) The burst of fuel/air are hitting the valve pocket on a quite flow friendly place.
It may actually help the flow ( now wet flow) to escape into the cylinder.
Especially with oversize valve and pocket porting

As the slant have exhaust and intake on the same side, the intake will bee heated up quite much.
But E85 fuel are cooling the intake charge. And when it mix in the heated up intake the atomization of the fuel will bee better.
Conclusion = Turn a disadvantage (heated intake) to advantage. ( probably .. :-)

Oversized valve, 1.70/1.44
With use of the Aussiespeed big bore gasket , it was possible to take some more without any gasket/sealing problems.
The engine are also bored 0.60

Nice info, Thomas. I usually open up some valve notches in the bores if I have big valves, even on a 0.060" motor.

During normal conditions , the injector have better atomization of the fuel .
when the power supply is not constant but pulsating

The injector is about 1000 cc min. (97.8 lb/hr) sized for e85

Hello friends.
some pics off my new radiator. It was some struggle to get the fan back . Not a lot of space left.. The aluminum radiator are a little bit thicker than the stock.

Here is also the new alternator, a GM unit.. 140 amp. from a Northstar engine. Have not tried it yet .

Thank you Greg, Yes the plan is to let the val come out of the cave.
Upgraded to front disc brakes (soon..)
And 10 inches drum at the rear, (finish)

Hi.. I found an dyno chart of a Porsche Macan 3.0 turbo. The engine is also used in some Audi.
Its an 3liter v6 turbo four valve double cam with twin scroll turbo mm.
A quite new construction , came 2013
The curve looks very similar to my SLANT6 chart done some years ago..

And the slant stand up well.. :D
I am aware that its difficult to compare dyno chart, but they are both done with dynapack.
Sorry for small low quality pics, but was not possible to get bigger..

The Porsche low boost curve are the stock 1 bar (14 psi ) and 293 whp
The Porsche high boost curve are 1.2 bar (17.5 psi ) and 356 whp

The dotted curve are transferred from my Slant 6 chart done some years ago
1 bar (14 psi ) and 323 whp

Air at a certain density goes in, mixes with fuel, power comes out...

There are several videos by Richard Holdener on youtube that make that point. Build a NA engine, dyno test it to get a Torque/HP curve. Add boost, dyno test, and the Torque/HP curve is the same, but at a higher level.

Some more related to the subject, A "fake" dyno chart . At least the upper part.
But maybe close to reality with 1.9 bar (27.5 psi)
I`ve been driving with 1.5 bar (21.5 psi) boost. Enough on the street..

20-28 psi is pretty wicked boost.

I agree , over 20 psi is quite much. With 14 psi the slant 6 is a very powerful engine. (Street)
I remember when i came back after a test drive, i told my father.
- this thing is totally crazy.. its not an engine , its a bomb..
The inline six feeling was blown away, more like raw screaming power.
About 14 psi give a more harmonic engine . And more reliable.
But still powerful .
