Saw a very nice pair of HP exhaust manifolds at the ICH swap today. Guy wanted $600 for them. I tried to talk John and Wayne into buying them, but no sale.

Sorry to hear that, Rick. I have had migraines for years, and it is no fun at all. Fortunately, I went to a homeopathic doctor and discovered that I had a gluten allergy. Once I got off the gluten, they went away. The wrong food can really mess us up! |

Update. I just wanted to let everyone who was interested know that the project has not moved along any since last post. I got 4 or 5 questions about the manifolds over the last year with people fearing they may have missed them. I feel really bad about getting everyone's hopes up and then not following through. I just can't commit to a big project right now, and I am not sure when I will be able to. I currently have 4 project vehicles lined up to work on and that list doesn't include about a month of work in my garage. Life and health and......etc don't seem to cooperate sometimes either. My biggest fear is having them made and then having them crack and then what do I do. I would feel responsible for making that right. Maybe that fear is totally unfounded, but that will need to be dealt with before I move forward. In reality this may have to wait until I can retire and devote all the time needed to make it happen. As for now, I'm off to drag race with my boys and my Slanted family. Thanks for understanding. Rick |

Rick, You should not feel bad about this at all. Christine and I will be thinking about Patti and you these days. Do what your heart tells you and time allows. I think those manifolds will be there next year. Dennis was thinkin' about buying a chunk of aluminum off the guy - but he thought he had sterling silver. |
