Sorry, but 5th is 1:1, tried to edit that but seems it didn't apply that. |

Tire / wheel size is nice, but you really just need to know the Rear tire Diameter. Greg |

I was thinking of going 40 series on that size, if Your mill has the oats to make 6K in OD Greg, You'd have a theoretical top end of 160mph..w/3.55's.... |

Well, looks like the reality of moving, marriage, Fatherhood, & doing His own thing caught up with Casey. I guess if I want to do this swap/conversion I'm on My own with My lathes & HD drill presses. Hope He & His family are OK........ |

We may want to look at options like the T5 TKOhttps://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopi ... 20&t=64912 The six speed is interesting however as I like the Idea of either closer ratios from 1st gear to the 1:1 Gear or having 2 Overdriven gears as well. Both are fun to contemplate. but the T5 is an excellent choice, realistic and within the reach of the average enthusiast's budget and time requirements to get installed. Greg |

I'm still alive and have made some more progress recently. I'll try and post pictures soon. I got my rear transmission crossmember mounted, but I'm concerned I didn't get the transmission high enough into the car. |
