I've bought so many I can't remember, but I used a bunch from Del City.

Got home from work Thursday morning and decided to check my supply of wire. I need 14 gauge to run to the fuel pump. Looked in my cabinet and found 10, 16, 18, and 22.

Went to the Del City website and ordered 50 ft of 14 and a bunch of connectors.

Was at the shop yesterday, and found 200 feet of 14 in my cabinet there.

Got home and my order from Del City was on the front porch. I now have enough 14 gauge wire to do 5 cars.

That’s pretty much how things always go.

I avoid that problem by just always using scrap pieces of junk.... Of course that has its own problems.

Sweet progress!! :D

I’m itching to get the engine in the Challenger, but I was showing off at the lake skiing last Saturday and tore up my knee when I jumped the wake and hit a wave. I’m hobbling around now, but have to be careful. Looks like I pulled or tore the MCL and maybe ACL.

Gettin older ain't great but getting older and dumber at the same time, now that takes some skill. And that is right where I'm at! :D :D Get better quick Rob! Like 3 weeks quick!

Word of caution if you order from Del City. My order the other day was was somewhat heavy, but shipping was only $7. Last night I was looking for a stand-off/terminal block. I found what I wanted and it was $25. It couldn't have weighed 6 ounces and they wanted to hit me with $15 shipping. I've had Rock Auto do the same thing before. I said screw it and found something I like better on Amazon, and shipping was free.

Sorry to hear that, Rob. I am getting more careful about these things too, these days...

Yeah, you have to watch that shipping stuff. If you don't pay attention you can wind up paying more for shipping than for the stuff you bought.

Heading to the lake now...

Wake boarding is fine. Its the showing off that will disable you.....

Just about done removing the old wiring. While looking under the dash I did see something I am really glad is there. Since there is no brake light switch the pedal could come up high enough to drop the pushrod out of the master cylinder. Mike has a piece of angle bolted on to the pedal mount to keep that from happening. A positive stop is a must for any car without the brake light switch.
