Was Scotty Richardson still involved with the track? He passed away a couple weeks ago. |

So they are not open on Friday or Sunday? ![]() I hated how London ran there races last time. But do you think they would allow us to run a race during Friday nights T&T? |

I am going to bet that with the big bucks race going on it's going to be a circus at London, especially with the gambler's race Friday night. I am also guessing that the big bucks at London is affecting the schedule at CC. Add in the US Narionals going on and that makes for small turnouts. I was thinking about bailing on CC and going to Knoxville, but that is the same weekend as the IHRA Bracket Finals at 41. My transmission guy qualified and I committed to helping[ him. |

Scotty may be the death in the family they mentioned then. I don’t have any details. I seriously doubt London would be willing to accommodate us for a Slant race Friday. I can reach out to them and ask. |

Sorry guys. Not being able to race the 1/4 mile on Friday, and Saturday not looking good, I am changing plans and not driving 11 hours east. Two years ago, I drove all that way to have the track loaf around all Saturday morning knowing weather was headed in for the afternoon, only to call the race in the afternoon. Seems like they have bad luck with weather. I hope that those that do make it get to run and make the best of it. See everyone in Knoxville. |

As of right now, I'm still planning on it. If I come Ryan will come. If I don't Ryan won't. I want to see a weather report in a day or so. The one day race is a kick in the head for me. ![]() |

Updated Roll Call: Rob Simmons Dennis Schumers (?) Lou Madsen Greg Ondayko Rick Covalt (?) Ryan Covalt (?) Rodney Hargis (maybe) I certainly understand the hesitation and have changed plans myself more than once. We have done the two race thing for many years and it is nice. We are a little spoiled in that regard. It’s a long haul and potential for rain is always a bummer. Lou will be here at Chez Simmons in about three hours. I’ll talk to him about a potential re-schedule for the race we lost on Friday. Clay City is an official two day event… Maybe we can run the make up race at Mason-Dixon, Motor Mile, etc… |

There is no Fall Mason Dixon. Just Knoxville. |

Is there no possibility of running 2 races on Saturday? I suppose based on the track staff's attention to timing and detail 2 years ago this might not be a possibility. |

Ok I will still trek west! 9 hrs driving to go set in the rain probably. As long as all you other folks are still coming? Lou, Greg, Dennis, Rob? |

I just cancelled my room reservations. However, Teresa told me she is off Friday thru Tuesday. IF she wants to come with and IF we can find someone to watch the dogs we will make it. ![]() |
