Very cool pics and memory exchanges, guys. I first laid eyes on my 68 Dart when it rolled in the driveway in 1982. I was 10. Most beautiful thing I had ever seen. My Mom inherited it from her aunt. My folks finally agreed to sell it to me when I turned 16 in 1988. What a great birthday surprise that was. I need to find and scan some of my old photos... Lou |

I still have my 65 V-100 2dr that I got in 1975. Not as nice as either of yours. |

There was a picture of Charlie's car once in National Dragster, it was a lighter color with Centerline type front wheels. |

Sorry, I can't help. I've only seen my original 4dr sdn, in ND. It was at a Gold Cup Stock meet at Englishtown NJ. I think that was the only time two slant six powered stockers were ever in the final of a major meet. My 65 valiant 170cid Z/SA against Ray Valprader(sp) 67 waggan 225 Y/SA.Charlieeeeeeeee………. I am unable to post pics, but If I am able to make pigeon forge, I'll bring some pics. |

Fiberglass hood is all installed and everything is aligned well. Built the rear hinges and mounts and also 4 adjustable posts to support the sides and back, plus the front hood pins which are captured units so I can't lose them. Plan to block sand it while it is on the car tomorrow and then late in the week, Robbie will get it and shoot a couple coats of good primer on it. Now I just need to remember how to grind the valves. Last time I done them it was in 1979 on a much older machine than this. Picked this one up for a song!
