Are those Cherrybomb mufflers spendy? 70valiant said that he got hooked up for $90?! :shock: I am curious if going to dual exhaust (Dutra's for example) would be any advantage over the 2 1/4 single discussed earlier. I can afford either, but I want the most driveable amount of power. Thoughts?

2 inch dual exhaust (or bigger) through headers would probably be the setup which would give you the most flow. I still recommend Dutra Duals though.

A single 2.5" flows more than dual 2" pipes. My muffler was $20 at pep boys the $90 was for just the pipes, clamps, hanger and labor. so it was $110 for the exhaust from the headers(which I picked up last year at carlisle for $75) out the back

Yes, but the dual exhaust breaks up the exhaust pulse pattern a bit and keeps them from crowding up at the single outlet....

Then again most guys aren't running their street slant at 4500 rpm@ 45 mph either....
