The ignition system doesn't know or care who made the engine. As long as the module sees the kind of signal it's expecting to see, it also doesn't care who made the distributor, or what nameplate is on the trunklid and fenders of the car.

No need to be short. I just didn't realize that they could be so easily adapted to a /6 application.
