I still haven't started a to build a slant 6 turbo but I hope to very soon. I do have 2 turbo projects that are running and prove how easy it is to get more power than a stock v8. The one is a 2.3 4 cylinder Mustang that has run in the 13.7s at 100 mph with very few mods. As long as it is tuned to avoid detonation it is very durable. There was a stock 340 Dart at the track last week and he was running 15's which I believe is pretty typical. I now have a Holset HY 35 turbo from a Dodge Cummins Diesel pickup on it and it is a lot faster now but haven't been to the track yet. I figure the 225 6 should flow at least as much as my 2.3 does so I don't think 300 hp at the crank would be difficult at all. The other is a Ford Ranger with a stock 350 Chevy engine. It ran 95 in the 1/4 before but since we have added a couple used $60 turbos and homeade headers and it ran 105 mph in the 1/4 and started blowing boost hoses off when we tried to turn the boost up. I only have $1k in it including buying truck already running. It used to be only the "experts" were able to build a turbo setup but not any more. I hope this doesn't come off as bragging or anything. I am just excited about how easy it is get big power from a small engine. Norm
