those must be older hooker headers..... I can't get hooker to even admit they made them anymore. last time I called asking about them a few years back I got the run-around.
You can order them from Summit.

Thank you, CJ. I wish I could take credit for the clean engine compartment. Mister Twister has a lot more energy than me. I can mash the pedal, though. I can take credit for the footwear.

sick, Mister Twister found those Hookers at our 4x4 performance shop. The owner said he ordered them over 10 years ago and the customer never picked them up so he was "stuck" with them. MT picked them up for $100. I couldn't believe it! I heard Hooker quit making those Super Comps for the six.

Thanks, Rob! Image

Hey the Duster is looking great, it's such a great feeling to be to that point, huh? Looks great. Nice scoops too! Are you doing the black twister stripe and logo? I think that would really finish it.

I'm glad you mentioned the headers, I didn't know they existed. will they bolt right up, or do you need an adapter of sorts? Any cutting or moving stuff out of the way? Does it block acess to the starter??

Goodluck!

I already have a Twister, Irie, but I don't talk a lot about it here cuz it's a V8. Image It's black with white stripes. I just got it a few months ago and haven't done much to it.

I've had the blue baby for about 12 years and have never really seen or drawn or imagined a stripe package for my little girl so I haven't put them on. I thought it would be fun for other people to imagine their own stripes on it. Image Black stripes would look good, though.

We just laid the scoop(s) on the hood to see how it would look. Mister Twister's buddy makes them. I really like the looks, but don't really want to drill holes in her hood. Image

MT had to tack weld spacers on the headers, as most, but it wasn't a huge task and they went on pretty easy. I had to buy a mini starter because I didn't want him to dent the headers to fit the big starter in. The headers that he made himself, don't have the space problem. Image

Thanks for the kudos. :)

Oh I see... I thought the blue one was the twister.... Cool. Thanks for the info on the headers, I can put that to bed. Baby blue needs stripe, get right on that! lol... I like the blue window tint (if I am seeing that correctly)!

Right, you are! It can be tuned for ham, but it was made for CB. Mister Twister builds them. I can talk anywhere I want, if the conditions permit. I'm a CB outlaw so hams don't like me much.
