For those cuts (0.125/0.100) I calculate somewhere between 11-1 and 12-1 depending on factory tolerances.

Well, let's see...

1999 - Possum 4th (140) / 'Zilla 18th (40)
2000 - Possum 1st (150) / 'Zilla 21st (40)
2001 - Possum 9th (130) / 'Zilla 13th (110)
2002 - Possum 6th (97) / 'Zilla 25th (12)
2003 - Possum 4th (106) / 'Zilla DNF (O)
2004 - Possum 3rd (116) / 'Zilla DNF (O)
2005 - Possum Currently 2nd / 'Zilla ??

But in all due fairness to 'Zilla, I think he is a regular at his home track and runs for the points there every year. Right 'Zilla?

I am going to be real honest here. The Slant series is relatively immaterial to me because the races are mostly too far away to justify going to them on a cost vs. payout scale. If I lived in the South where most the races are it would be different. However, I have been involved in the series since it's inception, introduced new racers, sponsors, and cars into it, and put up money out of my own pocket on more than one occasion. Unfortunately for me, it is just not worth the hassle anymore to spend gobs of money chasing a Championship that most people don't have a clue what it is. It is a Southern thing, and I just don't have the energy to chase it anymore.

I have met a lot of great people, raced a lot of good cars, but if it weren't for Mike and Seymour I wouldn't even be going to St. Louis.
