Checked the fuelpressure, ok!
Checked vacuum to distributor, ok!
:?
Can it be the MSD box?
She runs so well (and fast) up to around 2800 rpm and then slowly goes up to max 3200, it seems that she begin to vibrate at that time.
I will disconnect the box tomorrow.

Plugs, plug wires, worn cap'n'rotor? An arcing plug wire is a nasty thing. Lots of other possible culprits...

if you have your MSD... (I do have one too) does it have rev limiter? I onec left a 2000 rpm cookie in it that I use for parking lots and mechanichs and I almost went nuts trying to figger out what was wrong.

Matching blaster 2 coil? do you rewired it completely or you still have the friggin ballast resistor? Timing specs? initial? mech? vac? maybe vac is too high cruising and vac pod kicks in dialing way too much advance. does it pings when it stops pulling?

Spark plugs? brand and model? gap? I use 1.1 mm ( a li'l bit less than MSD specs for my static comp ratio) and NGK japan something5something.... (can't remember the whole # now)

Plugs: NGK BP5ES 1,1mm
Wires: Black 7mm something.
Newly changed cap'n'rotor
The MSD 6A box, should not have any rev.limiter.
Hmmmm, still have this "friggin ballast resistor", I will disconnect it, but MSD stated that it could be used.
It worries me that it not "pings" even with 15 degr btdc, maybe I would need an "hearingaid".
The car and I took a trip into town an hour a go, before that I disconnected the vacuum hose to the dist. She "launches" better from 60 mph now, but I dont know tabout the mpg.

Ballast shouldn't matter, that wire is only used as an on/off control wire to the MSD box.

What are you using as a trigger for the MSD?? points or magnetic?

Bad points/ points bounce if your using points????????????

If points, is condenser still there (don't need it with MSD)

3000rpm is not so much, or is it?
I will check that.

Away with the condenser, changed the points, (the old one was 3 months?)
Now she revs freely all the way! :D
Thanks to all of you guys.

Excellent! I have had a set of "bad" new points ruin my week before on my brother's 68 318 Dart. Can't remember if one of the contact pads fell off, or there was some funky short...
