I dig, man, I dig. Someone needs to throw you a driver's side alternator mount so you can tuck that thing in there instead of hangin' it out in the breeze.

Is that the top of an outboard motor? Cool but how is it plumbed? I don't know alot about outboards so I'll guess you just bolt it down like the top of a Pie tin lid.

Looks sharp! :D
Yup, sure is an outboard cover. She's bolted down with some nice brackets we made.

Update on the Krylon Special. Pulled the ford wires off and found a great set of 49-51ish Dodge steelies. What do ya think? Pulled more Dodge into the scheme of the car. 8)

This is one of those cars that makes me smile every time I see it.

What can you tell us about that custom air cleaner?

Dan,

It's a cover from an old outboard. Johnson I believe.

I wish I could tell ya more about the air cleaner other than it's the top half of an outboard boat motor. Here's a closer picture. A friend of ours had it hanging in his garage and thought our car was the perfect candidate for it.

Great car, and excellent background too. Keep up the fine work.

You anywhere near Bloomington, IN? I have a sister-in-law there and may visit this Summer.

Close, we're in Indianapolis. About 45 minutes north of Bloomington. You'll have to stop by for a tour of the Hot Rod and Fuel Injection Shop. Lot's of car related activities in Indy and surrounding areas in June for sure.
