So, in your opinion is my needle indicating too much charging when it stays steady at 3/4 tank position? I'm probably best off taking the battery to my brothers for a trickle charge to see if the battery will hold a full charge right?? |

No, you don't need a trickle charge (that's for keeping a battery charged when it's not in use for long periods of time). You need the battery charged. Takes a few hours at a sane charging rate. Any service station (if you still have those) or auto repair shop will be able to charge the battery if you take it to them. Quote: So, in your opinion is my needle indicating too much charging
