In practice, you just retard the initial timing setting a little or richen the carb adjustment, but it becomes a perpetual process of adjusting and readjusting to get the best performance from each tank of gas in any weather or altitude. Computers are great for this kind of stuff, but how many people are still using computers that where designed/built in 1979. Think Atari :shock:

One day, I'll learn more about that megasquirt system and update my wifes daily driver to a modern fuel injection style system. Till then, I just let it warm up in the driveway for a moment each morning and try not to focus on gas mileage too much.

I still have a TI-99/4A that still runs all the video games I programmed for it back in 1984/5-1987....LOL.....gotta love that 32K with the Extended Basic...kinda has the spunk of a super six vs. the one barrel....LOL
