To be honest I didnt relize how good the /6 could perform even with the head it has until I got to researching things.

Anyone think it is possible for us to cast our own head. I know a few people that cast small stuff at there garage but not anything at this level. But I did some research on this and it looks like it could be done if someone knew anything about such things.

Actually the slant head isn't bad at all. We're very lucky that we don't have a cast in log intake manifold or siameze ports. We get a good intake manifold, a fair exhaust manifold and 12 real ports all stock. Now if we had a pushrod 4 valve heads we'd be in fat city. http://www.araoengineering.com/
